Mnyamana (Boy, Age 13)

Favourite memory
My favourite Linawo memory was going to the beach and seeing penguins. Some were swimming and others were laying eggs. We were having an awesome time playing with our buddies and then we had delicious rolls and treats before heading home.

What does it mean to be in the Linawo family?
Being in Linawo means working together as a team. We accept God in our lives and it is a blessing to get God’s gifts and to follow the right path. It’s also a blessing to have people from overseas to help us.

Hopes and dreams for the future
When I grow up I want to be a soccer player and to play for South Africa one day. My dreams for the future are to follow God and to open people’s hearts to hear God’s word.

Themba (Age 10)

Favourite memory

My favourite Linawo memory is going to the Spur with Teacher Pam. We had such fun playing TV games and drinking milkshakes.

What does it mean to be in the Linawo family?

To be part of the Linawo Family means that I am loved, fed and taught about God. This family goes on lots of outings where we learn lots of new things.

Hopes and dreams for the future

I want to learn to bake because I like baking. When I grow up I want to be a chef. I will bake cakes, muffins, donuts and wedding cakes. My dream is to have a house, children, a wife and a car.
