Welcome to linawo

South Africa is significantly impact by the on-going effects of poverty, crime and HIV/AIDS. In 2002, Linawo was born out of the consequences of these social crises. Despite the years of challenge, opposition and trail, Linawo has been the permanent home to 15 abandoned, neglected and orphaned children for more than 10 years. Heather travels to Norway and the USA

Linawo on China Network Television for Mandela Day

Last Thursday was Nelson Mandela’s 95th birthday and in 2009 the United Naons declared the 18th of July each year, Mandela Day. To honour this, we are all called to serve for 67 minutes—a minute for each year that Tata Madiba served South Africa.
